Yes i unfortunately do believe that there is a value in suffering. That may sound harsh, but it is true. It is kind of like the saying what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Once you come through a bad time you are stronger for it. If another catasrophy comes around you will be more emotionally and mentally ready to face it head on. I can personally vouch for this because I have deal with many hardships in my life so far and I am only 17.

The thing I have the hardest time giving is my love and my trust. I have been betrayed many times so if is very hard for me to trust people so i am very reluctant to give people my trust. In general I believe that it is hard for many people to give their love to someone because of fear.

My biggest adventure for 2008 was when I jumped off a small ten foot waterfall at Alapocus park in Delaware. To many that may not seem like a big deal but to me it was. I am terrified of heights and when i would get to the top and look down my heart would stop but i realized that it was a thrill and a great high. Im still unfortunately afraid of heights but im slowly getting over it.

Within myself I have the hardest time accepting weakness or fear. I have such a hard time with these things because in my family I am the one that has to stay composed and strong to comfort everyone else.

The one thing that brings me peace is when I close my eyes and imagine im galloping bareback across a wide open field.
